question about war rewards

At the end of the battle when I click on what my rewards are it shows several rewards for the guild but only one for my individual reward. is this the way it is supposed to work?? if so it is the worst system I have ever seen. I got stuck with a reward I didn't want and missed out on several "lower" rewards I would much rather have.

yes, that is how it works. you get the reward for the tier you are in.

Lower Individual Reward would've been a lesser bonus than the one you "didn't want"

Unless you wanted an offense boost vs a defense boost or vice versa. In which case you'll either need to try harder to go up a tier or drop down one.

True but I'd still take the higher bonus regardless of Attack or Defense. To each their own, I guess
