Is it better to be in a top 25 guild with all the prizes that come with that status or is it better to be in a small guild and get 50 wins?

Top 25 will get you more modifiers over the long-term, but 50 wins and streaks rewards are usually higher than the ranking rewards in any given battle. If you do not "qualify" for a top 25 guild, being in a small guild going for 50 wins is a nice alternative.
