As many of you know, raids have all gone a bit wonky recently with the ability to successfully raid people up to 40% or so higher than you in stats. Of course you are then on their news feed, so may want to reconsider whether this is wise.
But what about the people with EVEN higher stats - don't you want to be able to attack them too? I have a few ideas of "game changers", which could be pretty fun:
- Dirty bomb - incapacitates all infantry for one hour - costs 1000 gold.
- Nuclear strike - wipes out all defensive and boost buildings - costs 1000 gold.
- Salvage crew - can only follow a nuclear strike, raids all available cash buildings - costs 250 gold.
Once a nuclear strike or dirty bomb has been used against a base, they are protected by a nuclear ceasefire for 24 hours.
You would also need a nuclear bunker to be able to successfully launch a strike - these would have a 12 hour repair time after being raided or following launch.
This should act as a great leveller, it might even mean that you have a chance to save a streak in WD should you draw a stronger team. For this to be truly effective, I would also suggest that a 14m attack score should not be able to raid a 20m defence.
Whilst this is obviously another "premium" option - used tactically I could see it being a lot of fun.
