On the opposite side the camera pans off to the sky every time a person disrobes or even the hint of any sexual content is brought in.

Is the US kinda stuck in a puritanical era that has never come to an end? I'm not attempting to flame here just to be careful how I word it but it just seemed to me that there is some kind of imbalance.
Since a child I have noticed the difference in US progamming. Other countries censor less and have much more lax sexual norms. Don't know why that is, but I know one thing... as a man less censorship is welcom on my set (but I'll continue to pass on it if I have to pay for it through HBO or whatnot)!

As warriors see many things in thier life that the ordinary man does not I can imagine your awe. In my youth I met soldiers from other countries and they had a different sensorship on the matters of life. Now that I have had many of the same experiences I understand. If anything soldiers tend to value and appreciate life more than the average person because they know how easily it can be taken.

The media and entertainers of hollywood in the US are a breed of their own. Most of them arent worth their salt and are so far out of touch with reality they might as well live on the moon.

Movies are made to entertain, and more importantly turn a profit. You don't create a move intentionally that no one wants to pay for the privilege of seeing... If one chooses to watch porn you are often deemed a Pervert, hence the need to watch in in private in many areas. If one chooses to watch graphic murder, and death there is nothing Unusual about that, you are not labeled a killer... Hence why not judge us by what we enjoy? Just be aware that I've yet to find a country where everyone chooses the exact same form of enjoyment...

Got to wonder, a little about what the people enjoy who are reading this post? After all it's ask in a forum dedicated to modern war. One can assume they to enjoy death, as it is hard to have a war without death!
By this rationale all of the world would be in serious trouble. Murder and other heinous acts have been considered entertainment at one time or another… real life not pretend.

Here on planet Earth violence and gore are a part of life. In 3rd world countries the killing of others is a daily norm. In the history of this planet violence and gore have been everywhere... middle ages, countless revolutions of Europe's royalty, attempt at genocide of the Jewish, viciousness of Mongolian raids, and countless others. Those are just simply off the top of my head. To judge a country on its fiction is absurd.

In America one also watches what the goverment permits, and if you choose to watch what the goverment forbids you go to jail. Shrug that simple truth applies to much of the world...
America is not a free country because you can't watch CHILD PORNOGRAPHY? I hope you are kidding here. Certainly I do not agree with where American freedom is today, I don't want freedom if watching child porn is what that means. I think you may have a slight problem. Being allowed to take someone else’s freedom does not make you free, it makes you a bigot.
