[How To] Upgrading to the iPhone 6? Read This First!

It's that time of year again, the day we count down to all year long...NEW IPHONE DAY! In preparation for the release we have a set of guidelines to ensure a smooth transition and transfer of your game to your new device. Before submitting a Support request, please thoroughly review this post. Additionally, when submitting a request please be sure to include all necessary details and information.

We highly recommend that you hold onto your old device until your game(s) has been successfully transferred to the new device. If you have already gotten rid of your device, please review THIS LINK before submitting a support request.

How To Transfer Your War of Nations Game (With Game Center)

1. War of Nations allows for self transfers through Apple's Game Center. Once logged into your Game Center account, you will be prompted to link your War of Nations account to your Game Center account when the game is opened. Each Game Center account may only have one War of Nations account linked to it. Before your new device arrives PLEASE LINK YOUR WoN ACCOUNT TO YOUR GAME CENTER ACCOUNT.

2. After a War of Nations account has been linked to your Game Center account, you can easily retrieve the account by logging into your Game Center account and opening the game on any other device. At that point you will be asked if you want to sync the device to your Game Center account's data and this will load the linked account onto the new device.

3. After you have synced an account to Game Center, when you open the game from any other device that uses your Game Center account, you will be prompted to sync to Game Center. This allows you to play the same game across multiple devices, but will get rid of the current account on the device.

4. Players who wish to keep separate accounts should disable Game Center on the extra devices or should log into separate Game Center accounts. If you have linked the incorrect Game Center account, please submit a ticket to us using the support button in-game and our support team will unlink your War of Nations account from your Game Center account.

How to Transfer your War of Nations Game (Without Game Center)

Prior to getting your iPhone 6, please write down the following information from your current game:

• In-Game Name (CASE SENSITIVE)
• World Number

Once you get your new toy and you notice you've lost all progress in WoN, that means your game was not associated with Game Center, and we'll be happy to transfer your account for you.

From your new iPhone 6, go to WoN and send us an in-game Customer Support inquiry:

• Menu > Profile > Settings > Contact Support

In the inquiry, we'll need some information to complete the process:

• In-Game Name of Old Account (case sensitive)
• World Number of Old Account
  
• In-Game Name of New Account (case sensitive)
• World Number of New Account

For security purposes, please also provide as much of the following as possible from your old account:

• Receipt information of gold purchases
• Recent in-game item purchases - specify date, item, and amount of gold spent
• Your last login time

We've prepared for this day, so if all the info is correct, your request should be processed quickly! Although, any typos or if the security info doesn't match, this can prolong the process, and we will do our best to get you back in your game as soon as possible!
