    Examining PvP Points Reward Accumulation

I'm kinda curious about the possible naturally earned points in PvP vs how much is required on top of that to simply complete the progress bar, this does not take into account trying to earn a top 25 spot.

I've found it impossible to complete the progress bar of many PvP weekly events without using WAY too many Morale Refills.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could complete the progress bar each week by simply playing the game, through dedication of playing. Only using Morale Refills to make it faster, or to make up times you couldn't get to it because of... you know...life happening. Everyone has other things going on in their life and can't get to the game every time it beckons you. Unfortunately it is only possible by buying Morale Boosters.

So, I took down some quick numbers and did some extrapolating to get a rough estimate of Naturally earned points.

Below is an example of the breakdown of the points.

All point numbers are assumed to be from the "Hard" PvP difficulty option and will vary from player to player by some amount, maybe +/-20 points.

Let's assume you play 3 matches an hour, in a row for the Streak bonus.

    A) Match 1: 121 points

    B) Match 2: 167 points

    C) Match 3:220 points

    This amounts to: (A + B + C = 508) Points per hour

Assuming you catch it every hour, on the hour, 24 hours a day, this amounts to (508 x 24 = 12,192) points per day. (Who can honestly do this though?)

Let's assume you level up once a day, refilling morale, and this morale refill is used and added to your current win streak of 3, bringing you to a total win streak of 6.....

    D) Match 4: 256 points

    E) Match 5: 294 points

    F) Match 6: 357 points

    ......that adds (D + E + F = 907) to the daily total.

    Totaling:

    12,192 + 907 = 13,099 Points per day

Lets also include all 11 Morale Refills that are supplied with progress rewards, for simplicity, lets assume they are used as soon as they are obtained simply adding 3 to the current win streak of 3.

    907 x 11 = 9977 additional points for the week

Let's assume you get the SR Countermeasure unit within the first 5 minutes of the event starting before playing any matches. We can then simply multiply this amount by 50%.

    13,099 x 1.5 = 19,648.5 (Round up 19,649) per day.

Let's be generous and just round it up to 20,000 points per day. (Reminder, this is assuming tending to the game every hour, 24 times a day)

    ================================================

Lets take a quick look at points required to earn all the rewards: 400,000 points.

Split it up evenly throughout the week: 400,000 / 7 = 57,143 points per day required.

57,143 - 20,000 = 37,143 point PER DAY deficit that can only be attained by buying morale boosters.

Total deficit: 37,143 x 7 = 260,001 which is only able to be made up by using Morale Refills, exact number is up in the air, but if I had to guess, I'd say is maybe around 75. If you look at the cost og gold and Morale Refills, each Morale Refill costs roughly $1 each.

Now, granted, some of this can be alleviated by saving your earned Morale Boosters and using them all at once. Doing this may earn you somewhere around 20,000 points extra for the extra 33 matches of PvP in a row.

Now, on a positive note. I really liked the way points were earned in this first Epic Boss week. Almost too easy, I feel a good balance of the way points are earned vs required to finish out the progress bar is between the first Epic Boss week and what is is here in the PvP.

I say I am happy with the points related to this and I was one of the 10 people who got this bug that prevented us from progressing on our boss past Tuesday. I bugged out at level 28, and through many many many many level 1, 2, and a few level 3 Distress Calls, I was able to get far enough to earn the first US unit, which I was happy with, given the situation.

Actually, with numbers this lopsided in their favor, (it reminds me of the ways Casinos are operating) It's no wonder why there are so many cheaters. I promise I am not one of them who uses cheat programs.

Maybe there is something I am doing wrong.... or at least non-optimal. Anyone else able to get better numbers, and maybe even earn the 2nd UR in PvP weeks? (Cheating aside)

Yeah I agree. I've gotten about 2 gold keys so far and my rank is about 400. Considering there are hackers in there then there must be a very low amount of people that can reach the end. I'm annoyed because I want that specific UR really badly. Definitely keep verse events but stopping the streak from reseting would be much more fun and a challenge. And gree. If you want to think of the money making side of it people will spend gold on keeping the streak going as the streak would be much more valuable to save.

You also receive less points per verse if You're a lower level. Battle 1 is about 80 if You're under level 40.

The bosses we're Good but need balancing for higher level players. Like I got all the gold keys in one day and completed it in 3 days but lower level people suffered with it. I can understand that higher level ones are meant to be conquered together and points split up but for higher leveled players It's quite easy. It might just be Me tho because I stopped doing boss fights after 4 days and my rank stayed at about 350.

I agree too, things are slowing down too much. You want the game to have some difficulty, but you don't also want to have units so that you can compete in the game. They are starting to put better stuff in the game, but it is getting harder to get.

I've always thought of the vs event as the Calm between storms. It was the time that I didn't grind it constantly to get to the end.

    Welcome to Gree.

if you want top units you need to spend thousands. PER MONTH.

it is a fact. Either bust open your wallet or embrace mediocrity. Or find a better gaming company.

i have been top 20 so I know from experience what it costs. I'm not bitter or angry, just being honest. I've found a few other games that are far more fun and I'm barely hanging on in League of War. I just hate to leave with over 1000 units in storage and a full UR party I earned...

Eh..I don't know about spending thousands, or even hundreds to that matter to get the best units. Not defending Gree but frankly I find that there is a fine balance in the game for spenders and non spenders. I mean just because you buy gold to open gold or elite war chests does not guarantee you a good unit at all. I know plenty of players in my alliance that have spent hundreds on war chests and still have rare units most may not want. I mean there are several ways to be on top without having to spend a dime...For instance, saving gold keys, I have already saved about $50.00 worth of gold keys between two events, maybe half of another without spending a dime. I may have drifted away from the subject in this thread but I am just saying. Point is, money does not guarantee you top units. It may get you far in events...but doesn't guarantee you top units at all. Plus...some UR units are the best in the game, why would you expect for them to be easily obtained? Any game where you can easily get the best stuff is a silly game.

I agree there. If you don't spend money then you have to play more for those gold keys and then you get more play time out of it. To buy those top units you would have to pay tons and tons because all you are buying is a chance. It is a way of making money for the company but It's not stabbing us in the back. It's just an expensive feature.

I don't spend money on games but people that have spent hundreds on this game would have a much more 'passionate' opinion.

Why would someone spend thousands over a game like this one? LoL

When a game has very bad support team(I am still waiting for an answer back from you Gree for over 8 days now!) and it-s full with ''glitches'' (ahem :P),people need to start reconsidering investing money into something like that!

I was a donor (in the first 3 days that I've started, I think I invested over 200 £) ,I did really bad (my mistake for not getting informed before spending),had problems in game ,submitted a support ticket and that was the last of it!

They want money? They want lots of players? Well, they better start to pay attention to the players!

I think It's an amazing game tho and we all wouldn't be here if we didn't agree but everything other than gameplay is horrific.

    To get top unit

I often wonder how we suppose to get a top unit in event and to me it seems you have to spend money to buy boosters correct me if is wrong. I would of hoped simply playing the game you could earn the units. After all not all of us have bank accounts, after all I bet kids play this game

If You're a high enough level you can get it by playing the game right

I would say you would need the units as well regardless of how high you are. Myself I get so far in a event and hit the brick wall of coming up against units more powerfully then I have in my collection.

So grinding away has to be name of the game and some luck
