Why not give the little guys something. Just because we don't spend $100's a month, does it mean we shouldn't get the odd gift now and again.
This mod is really only useful to high IPH'ers, most people will run out of money before too long and won't use it anyway. Unless it's for a laundromat for something.
Is it going to make much difference to the average player, not really. But now that Gree has given us this and then knowing that everyone's IPH will begin to shoot up. It won't be too long before we get a 500m/1b LTB.
It's a nice gift considering we have to put up with Gree's mishaps and errors all too often!

You just don't get it do you . The more people have it the more people will have better iph which means the will be better buildings to rob . win win. They are not gonna take the item back from people just because you don't like it . your not forced to buy crazy amounts of gold that was your choice.

I think they are giving it to everyone because they are going to release relevant defense buildings, and they want to raise everyone defense numbers
The new event requires cash items. The gold use comes in on the refills. If you can't buy the cash items, there is no reason to buy gold. So, they are helping everyone to increase their iph.
The Capt' is just trying to stimulate conversation and see who trolls the thread...
I agree, this mod should not have been given out to people that spend $0. Should have had to finish the whole LTQ for the prize at least
