Gree being blocked

Gree games and all gree websites including this forum are now on the block list of Telus's net nanny program. I work in isolated areas throughout Canada and can no longer play any gree games or visit this web site while using the remote wifi links. Yes there are work a rounds where I visit sketchy sites that proxy for me (like I'm doing now) my typing is about 2 seconds per character.

Sadly when staff raised a complaint list last month of blocked sites gree did not make the cut. Several porn sites were unblocked but not this forum or MW.

So I will rarely visit here now and probably only play when I am on days out. Apparently it is due to purchases not being absolute. I'll try to explain. When you buy something on the web you spend x dollars and get what you paid for. When you buy from gree you get gold but using gold on crate events doesn't provide anything beyond a chance of getting something. Apparently this gambling aspect has forced the remote ISP provider to ban this company as it is not a game but a gambling site.

You can't imagine how long it takes to type this. My visits here will probably stop which will probably make admins happy as I usually only point out game flaws anyway. I will try to assist my faction where I can but other than my home time playing has become painful.

I really can't see a fix for this and this proxy site has taken me almost 30 minutes to type this .

The ISP is 100% correct, what do you want us to do about it? :P try VPN, but if they are blocking sites like Gree's, VPN will be closed as well.

Be very careful using Proxy sites if you value your privacy (same goes for Gree apps at that haha)

Download a hotspot shield, I ran into the same type of situation in Korea with blocked sites. Just google hotspot shield and it'll work

Yeah I've found ways around already took about 30 seconds but I don't think I care anymore. Gree let's hackers run free and boots real people. Other then my faction who I can still chat with even when I don't play I don't see any reason to keep this game on my phone.
