Sushi bar upgrade to level 2 cost 40000 ?

What is this then i spent real money to buy some sushi bars, and the income is every 3 hour $250.
If i want to upgrade it to level 2 it cost $40000 and the income only change to $500 every 3 hour.
Is this the normal cost or a bug ?

This is why I bought Ice Cream shops and Smoke shops instead. Not all buildings pay the same.

That does sound pretty steep as far as the cost to upgrade.... But that income change of doubling income at level 2 is pretty standard. I strongly suggest that you check out TLoord's Spreadsheet and help out the community by letting everyone know.

Hi Mickey i did check that out but it didnt say anything about the sushi bar upgrade costs,For Max Power i already had 2 ice cream shops
But the $40k for 1st upgrade is way to much and i think it is a bug, maybe someone else can tell me ?or CC mark ?

The first upgrade for the Collection Agency is $75,000, and that's an additional $200 every three hours.

I'm not a financial genius or a math major, but that's a month's worth of perfect collection (not possible unless you're a complete psychotic with an unhealthy addiction to this game) just to break even on the upgrade alone. All told, to recoup your total investment, it's 50 days worth of perfect collection.

I get the concept of escalating prices and diminishing returns as a way to control inflation, but that's absolutely ridiculous. And that's only, what, like a level 36 shop? Do they measure the top ones in years? The disparity between the low-cost buildings and the high cost ones isn't even close to even.

I doubt its a bug. It seems high in relation to what other buildings cost to upgrade that you unlock at around the same level and this is part of the reason why I think adding to the spreadsheet is important. It helps everyone not fall for the same..... money sink buildings. Sry Mate.

    @ Cooz

I feel the same way. I'm tempted to stop building the upper buildings since the time to remake your principle is so long, but I guess it all depends on how long you stay active in the game. If you are playing this game for ten years then you ultimately get a very nice return, but I doubt I'm going to stay active that long...

hmmm if u buy a fancy restaurant. the upgrading cost is 450000 (yes 4 zeroes) and if u buy a brownstone, the upgrading cost is somewhere beyond that... lol but they do pay very well so it worth it

The thing to consider is what these buildings pay at higher levels. Maybe they will charge you a lot for small boosts to cashflow at early levels, but the boost at higher levels might be more substantial, kinda as a way of making you pay your dues at the lower levels. If anyone knew what these buildings paid at higher levels that would be very useful.
