I've stopped spending gold on LTQ's after they started exceeding over 2000 to finish. Gree is targeting a very, very wealthy demographic and alienating basically their entire customer database.

Where are old good days where you can finish LTQ and be rewarded with -20% health regen. I remember finishing two LTQ's for deadly bridge (-20% health regen) and tornado airplane (-20% health regen) with half energy I have now and spending no more than 500 gold on each LTQ.

I would think they would know that the general gold spender is not going to spend 2 vaults of gold (or more) per energy event right. Wait a minute it is Gree so maybe this is their attempt to try to get rid of LTQ since right now no one really wants them.
After they gave those away for basically free they figured out how valued they are by the MW community and adjusted their outrageous pricing structure accordingly.
