Raiding might become more difficult if buildings can somehow factor in to repelling attacks
Isn't it possible to re-release all the LE Buildings at original cost (or gold cost), and without the unit rewards?

No, because then they wouldn't be limited time. Also, the first buildings didn't even have units, and re-releasing them would be a slap in the face to people who got them originally, considering how difficult that was. This building has a good payout and a (hopefully) soon to be useful boost.
Awesome Gree, exactly what we want in an LE.
As for the building defense bonus, I'm very curious if this is a precursor to updating the defense building component to the game, or maybe I'm reading too much into it.

The topic has been covered so extensively, I consider continued questions on this to be trolling. Then again CJ opened that can of worms and Gree hasn't put the lid back on it. We get a great building at present and people are still bemoaning for a time machine to the past. It's pathetic at this point.

Please seriously consider having devs change boost associated with final upgrade. Defense buildings have long been obsolete in this game. Having a boost does not make them relevant. Please alter boost to something that is still relevant to current game play.

Agree. Please change the boost. This current boost is absutely useless.
Ferr had all defense buildings to lvl 10 and he went to 0 allies. Still had 8k defense from his buildings.. So a 10% boost will give me an extra 800 defense (if I had all buildings at 10).. So I will go from 620,000,000 defense to 620,000,800 defense.. Are you serious?
We need a 4,000,000% boost to defense buildings to make them relevant at all
