I think it reduces your opponent's alliance size by -3.

its like anyone from top 250 wont get bonus really bc these 2 will cancel one another out..unless we raid someone in top 500 or met up with a top 251 back is only time it will work..pretty ridiculas..although i the rewards this time are alot better then same old boring attack/def...if i was the #1 team i would be getting upset with the same old attack bonus's..not like they need anymore attack at alll

You're probably right. They've had a boost like that before, and normally it would state this, but hopefully, it was a typo. I doubt Gree would make this mistake...but you never know.

i think what they suppose to put on there that -3 is for rivals use but who knows..if this is how it is then it will cancel it out and its like we dont get a bonus for 250/400You're probably right. Are you for real???? have you never got those types of bonuses???? The plus 3 is for your own Alliance, and the -3 affects your opponent. so basically you are 3 alliance stronger while your opponent is 3 alliance weaker. As someone previously mentioned, you have to use logic, when you look at bonuses. why would a bonus remove your own alliance? why would it be called a bonus if it made you weaker??? oh and this is not the first time gree offers these types of bonuses. i have +12 alliance myself, while my opponents have -3 so they bring in less units while i bring in more units to each fight.
It was good question I'm pretty sure there has never been a -3 alliance size reduction reward. I can see how it could be confusing

If it is rival brings 3 fewer alliance members to war I'm curious how that boost would affect fighting against someone with alliance size of 1, 2, or 3.
I'm waiting for gree to figure out how to implement an energy ltq where you get negative experience for defeating each npc. It would be interesting to see how much some of the 300s may spend to decrease their levels.
