    Crime City has taught me

.... that people of all ages squander large sums of money on one thing or another, and that older people are more dim-witted with their cash than I thought

    What has it taught you?

Never marry someone you met on an Internet forum, and get the hotel security tape.

Maybe "older people" (for you that probably means 25) have a pretty good handle on how much of their income is disposable.

    1) In order to make money you have to keep reinvesting in something with a good return and worrying about how your going to get robbed and trying to prevent it only hurts your bottom line.
    2) If your not constantly trying to get ahead, your going to fall behind.
    3) You don't have to spend anything to be successful if you surround yourself with people who spend a lot.
...just a few off the top of my head
