[Ask the Devs] Round 1: Modern War

Hello Players,

We are going to start something new. This is the first round, so there might be a few kinks to work out. Every other month, we're going to open a thread for a single week, Monday-Friday. This thread will alternate games; this means it will not always be Modern War focused. You may ask developers questions. We'll close the thread and then two weeks later publish a set number of answers. This first month we are aiming to answer 5 questions from players.

Notes about questions:
Please don't ask specific questions such as "When is the next FLTQ?" or "Why is that boss's health x/x?"

Are we going to be able to see a list of prizes for events again anytime soon? its nice to have them before the event starts, and makes life easy for people creating a walkthrough for the benefit of the game.

Its been many months since we have seen a big gold sale, 40% off or better. We now have 12 events in 3 weeks time, and a big gold sale would be helpfull to many players. Would you consider doing it again? Or is it a thing of the past? Thank you.

This has been discussed at length. We will not be publishing full list of the prizing for all tiers. Apologies for any frustrations that may cause.

I sent a ticket (#1642737) about a month ago regarding an accidental purchase. The person replying said "I'm escalating your ticket directly to one of our Modern War Player Experience Specialists, who will get back to you as soon as possible." I have heard nothing back since then, and the ticked shows "assigned". Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Devs,

You seem to be capable of running multple events simultaneously every few days.
The prize structure must already be in place at the start of the event, so WHY can't we get a list of the prizes at the start.
If not a complete list, at least the milestone prizes; 50,100,150 boss kills, faction wrapper, FLTQ normal, prestige, ILTQ,normal, prestige & wrapper.
There's still confusion about the big prizes on the current epic boss,& now this Buzzbomb FLTQ, we're chasing an invisible carrot!
If you can't keep up with your own deployment of events, perhaps you should slow down. I'm sure much of the MW community prefer quality over quantity.

I noticed that a lot of your buildings are defensive bonuses such as the Composite Factory. Do you think there could be buildings to raise your Attack? Also do you think Gree would ever creat a building that members who are with Modern War for certain amount of times (I.E. Yearly anniversary) can purchase as a way to thank us for being a committed customer?

I hope you guys can post the information for at least some of these events. I'd like to at least see the prizes for those BLTQ buildings, the cost to upgrade, and payout. Hopefully the times to upgrade.

1) the events seem to be running a bit smoother then before. As a community we have raise numerous problems in the past with events. Cost/ various running problems. One of my fav would be the Axis of evil. Kill 200 bosses stuck on 10. Those who took advantage of this and use gold to complete it was given a refund? The rest had to struggle through harder bosses and cost us more gold... My question would be why is this fair logic?

My other question is what is or has been done to make up to the players of past events? We here "were trying to work out what to do" but we think you hope with enuff time passed and events we will forget.

2) rumours of a building that cost valour float around from time to time... Is there any weight in this?

3) at the start of a cycle can we get a list of what the events are. Some are easy to guess some not so.

I had a question,I have too ask,I had a bunch of valor and used it too buy valor units,then,all of a sudden new valor units came out,and I feel I wasted all my valor on weaker valor units,is there anyway you all can come up with a way we can sell our old valor units and redeem valor back, to purchase new ones,kinda like how you can buy a cash bldg & sell it,even if it meant getting only half the valor back,That would be awesome,same principle maybe can be used on old cash units,please let me know what you think

1. Can we get stats in terms on millions, for example instead of 860000000 we see 860M

2. Would it be possible to make an adjustment to World Domination points and use a different algorithm?

Such as, attacking a player who is the same level or higher but within 10% of your attack yields a consistent max of 400 points? I can hit the same target as someone else but since I'm L300 I get 25%-50% less points.

3. Raise the amount per PvP attack from $300K to something a lot higher, perhaps a boost unit so the person still loses $300K but you receive $3Mil?

4. Back to PvP increasing valor payment, so each hit gives 100 valor at least so there's more incentive to attack someone?

5. Any chance to bring PvP tournaments back?

6. Status on new faction upgrades, including membership size or perhaps different boosts offered?

7. Alliance Defense units like in Kingdom Age

8. Vault size has been increased from 90Mil to ~240Mil less than 3X increase. But in Kingdom Age there's been almost a +6X increase in vault size and inflation has been less so the MW increase relative to KA isn't 1/2 but 1/4 the impact. What about a $1 bil vault?

I'm glad Gree is considering customer recommendations and hopefully it's a sign the company is trying bridge the confusion and frustration gap between the customer base and those who produce the product.
