Wanted to confirm that transferring an account to someone else is a violation of the terms of service and would result in it being banned ?

Maybe the Sippy cUP police can clarify their position on this as well as they portend (or pretend) to hold themselves to the gree rules.

Real Money Trading, Account sharing, and selling
o Buying or selling accounts for real money or in-game currency
o Buying or selling services, in-game currency, promotional codes, etc.

The way this reads is you can give someone your account but cannot sell it. (Although it looks like you could trade for something (in real life, like an xbox lol) maybe as it only states real money or in game currency.

Breaking the Terms of Service will result in a permanent ban. Transfers of accounts of any kind is a breach of the ToS. No, you can't trade it for an xbox.
