Apologies for the long delay. The problem has been located and should now be fixed. Please let us know if this is continuing.
So, is the Apple store pushing out the Kingdom Age update today, or did you all fit it in a data push to eliminate thesse issues, or?
We are aware that the issue has 'been located.' The problem is that we were told the fix would be via an update in the Apple iTunes Store, and we haven't gotten said update. Clarification would be nice, Tadaaah. Thanks.

It appears that the item causing the surge did not call for an update.
Well, I'm glad that it's fixed. I'm also quite a bit peeved that it took this long for them to realize that, especially since CC and MW got the fix something like 2-3 weeks before we did.
Still, thanks for relaying the information. I know the action itself is most likely something you did not have any control of, and I'm certain we're all thankful it's finally fixed.

It seems to be fixed! Thx, but I wish it could have been done sooner! I just relogged, refreshed, attacked a rival, and killed a boss. Refreshed leader list in box event and loaded guild chat over and over .. Did every thing I know to do in game for about 5min. Data stayed at 1.066 of 5.120 (MB) after all that
Just tested it. The good news is that data usage has been reduced. The bad news is that it still seems high compared to other games. So, do keep an eye out if you have an account with say, 2GB of free data usage per month. My estimate is that KA could still easily use that much up on its own, especially if you just leave the app running (even without doing anything in particular).
I shall refrain from commenting about how long this 'fix' has taken ... the previous posts speak volumes.

Hope it is fixed... otherwise i'll come over to GREE and fix it myself
Checked my consumption for the current month. It is less than 60MB, so for me at least the issue is fixed.
