Do individual WD reward bonus stack?

I know after the 24 hour WD ended people were asking if the individual rewards unit bonus stacked?

Does anyone know if they answered if so? Or does does anyone know from personal experience?

4. Recycled units dont stack

This has been the case for if you finish lower in another event it is possible to get the same prize. But we have heard you and a change is being implemented to make these items stackable. This will affect the current duplicate units already awarded. This change is happening VERY soon.

It is unclear if it actually does work as of today, anyone can confirm or deny? It's really confusing as to what reward someone should aim for, something that they feel will help stats the most or one that is 100% guaranteed to work.

Agreed it would be nice to know and at this point, it is hard to tell if/when they will stack with their customer service track record. . .
