Crate events , no better off using gold

I have done gold opens on my main account since the start every hour , except for the 7 hours I sleep.
Results are as follows vs my other accounts

Main with gold : 8/10 and 6/8 units
Rest of my accounts are gold free
1) 8/10 & 7/8
2) 9/10 & 8/8
3) 9/10 & 7/8
4) 8/10 & 7/8
5) 9/10 & 6/8
6) 8/10 & 5/8

SO WHY EVEN HAVE A GOLD OPEN OPTION, .. I have 9 of the freaking useless ship.

It's not a gaurentee of the crate item being recieved, it's a gaurentee of receiving SOMETHING instead of the "better luck next time" the "something" is still the same odds of receiving as per norm

Use gold @ your own risk. Everyone knows that. My account is 9/10 7/8 for free. Even if I don't get the final items I won't drop gold on a case event.

The last 2 crate events I haven't got higher than 5 opened and no more than 3 units,, and that's on 3 accounts, doing all cash opens...won't be bothering next time

Lol to be fair Gree needs to let us know the drop rate on each loot

I imagine that just like the raid boss it has drop Percentages....but we don't know what they are.

Its more like this

Item 1- 100%
Item 2- 80 to 90%
Item 3- 80 to 70%
Item 4- 60 to 65%
Item 5- 50ish%
Item 6- 40%
Item 7- 30 to 40%
Item 8- 25%
Item 9- 20ish%
Item 10- 10% (rumored 1%)

As for units

Units 1-6 (Random, no matter the power)
Unit 7- 30%
Unit 8- 10ish%

This is from my personal experience. With the units, the first 6 you get seems to be the most common ones you get from opens. I got 9 of the 3k units and 7 of the 900 units within the first 6. the other 2 units were unit 1 and 5, which were the hardest to get.
