Problems/Questions with New Quests and Epic Boss Event

I just defeated an Epic Boss, and the screen said he dropped an Orb. No orbs show up to be vaulted. Can this be corrected?

Question on the Nomad Basket event: Why is the cost so high for the Medium Chance? I'm a level 177, and it shows that the cost is 17,700 in gold. That's way more that what they usually cost. And this time we have to open lots more of them to get the rewards. Is the cost really that high?

I get the orbs I'm supposed to receive. Just double checked, I have to restart to get it to update my amount sometimes. Cost formula for gold hits in the 151-199 tier is the boss' level x750

I believe the OP is referring to medium chance cost of opening a box, I am level 171 and have not leveled up since the last the box event. The cost for medium chance was 4250 gold, now it's 17,100 gold, 1000 gold times level. basically quadrupled in cost

My level 200s went from 5,000 gold to open a box to 20,000 gold to open a box. I need gold for the Epic boss and the building upgrade, so I'm ignoring the box event.
Do you hear that Gree? No gems the last day to try to get a prize.
I've always hated box events anyway! Thank you for making my decision to ignore it, so easy!

I think it's x100 gold times your level.
