One could say this about numerous online pvp games.
Real life ver the online world...hmm...a very old topic that's not worth much these days.
Can it be added to ones resume..why not, if you are going for a job working in quality assurance for a gaming company it would be relevant. Will it help distinguish you, again if going for the right type of job then yes.
It's all relative from different points of view.

If you do a rough calculation, these guys spend about $2-3k per person to get 117m cp. These people probably don't need jobs.
