Gold issues: Listen, Gree has provided us with a great game. I haven't spent that much money on gold and I have some pretty good stats. I'm sick of all this "You need gold to be the best" crap. All of the events are possible to complete w/out gold. What fun is it if it's not a challenge anyways?

Bugs and glitches: I haven't experienced any huge bugs or glitches within my game, only some minor things that don't really matter. So for all that, it's your own fault.

Customer support: I do agree Gree needs to step it up in customer support, but they do respond.

Rival lists: I think this was a good change so you are matched up with people you can defeat.

Forum mods: I agree, why can't Gree get 3 or 5 mods? I'm sure we have some members that'd like to apply.

No info within the game on the forums: Since A&F left, we really haven't gotten any info for events coming up or... Anything. Why can't they find a guy to do this?

IP on battle of empire city: They should give higher levels more IP for hits, that ruins the point of the level.

the only events that you are able to complete without gold and the crate events with extremely good luck and ltb's if you have a very high iph(most ltb's. the cheap ones only require high iph) and upgrade mods from previous events. basically the chance of completing ANY event without having ever spent gold is extremely unlikely.

Do a few hits on the ltq. No more than 3 or 4. If no boss, go to rival list, refresh, pick a rival you can rob. Rob an ltb if available, or if not, try a low level building (I do this in hopes of triggering LESS retaliation). rob no more than 2 or 3 times. If still no boss, attack 2 or 3 times. If none of this works, repeat.

Here is the key: ONce you get a boss and kill it, HAVE SOME PATIENCE. Don't try to immediately summon the next one. Wait 5 minutes. Log off the game for a few minutes then come back.

All of this has worked very well for me. I'm on about 45 now, and have honestly let AT LEAST 15 slip away on purpose so I can help with the Syndicate goals of 300 per day for every day. I could be on level 60 or higher if I wanted to.

You can still help your syndicate after you get to 100 bosses. You'll just start only getting level 100 bosses with legendary items.

Thanks for the balanced post, 1Shot, and I appreciate the time you took to write it. Regarding some of points:

We'll see what we can do about the forum mods. And we're sticking with the rivals list changes for the time being, because numbers-wise we've seen more players attacking/ getting engaged than before the change (again, this is by the numbers and not from the common sentiment, a lot of which is understandable given that it was a fairly fundamental change to the way a lot of people play the game).

Regarding the event posts: Those were an experiment that we started that didn't work out. For years before then, we went by the standard that almost every game sticks to: the developers release the content, but it is up to the players to spade it out. There are a couple of benefits to this, not least of which is the community participation that results when players work together to figure things out.

The problem that resulted when we started posting that information was that, due to the way the information flow works over here at the present time, the information that people posting here have access to is usually 1-2 days old, and the designers will often tweak things last minute. What that resulted in was one or two items being slightly off, or a missing row that resulted in the whole thing looking wrong, compared to what was in the game. And giving bad information is worse than no information. We went round and round about it over here, but based on what we can do at this time, we ultimately decided that it was best to cease posting event specifics until the information flow could be properly sorted.

Regarding locked/removed forum threads: I'm not sure why this suddenly came up, as we haven't locked or deleted very much at all in the last couple of weeks, unless I'm misremembering something. A quick look through the last week of forum threads will show pretty convincingly that we aren't stopping people from expressing displeasure with something in the game.

Very well worded and put together thread, good job. And as to what CJ said about the experimental event postings, we did greatly appreciate them but I find it kind of fun to post the energy reqs and so forth for the LTQ's on the forum. I'm never able to fully complete them though as I'm still fairly new to the game and only have 1910 max energy with very light gold spendage, but if you could possibly give us, let's say, the total cost of energy reqs for the entire LTQ event, it'll help us see how far we want to go into the LTQ because, let's face it, rarely anyone ever fully completes the LTQ events.

CJ your an idiot. One guy comes out from under a rock to write one good post out of thousands of negative posts and you write some thank you letter. The guy or gal obviously doesn't play much or is new to make a bs post like this. Nothing like blowing sunshine up mods you know what.
Lol more active players since you changed the rivals list is a joke. OK raise your hand if you started playing because of the change??? No hands I see. What you did was take years of work by some players and make it worthless. All the gold and time players used to be better at their level with one action was gone. And now a boss event right after battle guess those first Qtr earnings has the boss all over you guys. Guess it is worth a try to start Qtr 2 with another stupid idea to gain more revenue.
And nothing like a forum were you get to stay anonymous is there. How many companies get to do that.......

I'm not that new... I actually played here like over a year ago, went inactive, now I'm back on a new device, I'm not sure what happened to my old account, I wasn't as into this game back then. I know what happened in the past and the stat inflations. Gree purchased crime city off of funzio, they probably wanted to do a stat inflation to change some stuff up so it's not a complete replica off of what funzio did. This also happened awhile ago, so I don't know why players are still complaining about it. The game seems more interesting to me with stats that can increase at a faster pace, but that's just my opinion.
