That's true, but for syndicates who may not have reached level 100 bosses yet (a long time friend told me yesterday his syn is on 20/27) getting a 100 boss per lost hour wouldn't help them any. I think we can assume Monte wrongly assumed all affected syns were in the closing stages.
The meat of yours and his is identical though, and I support it so far as awarding one boss per hour lost (maybe even two or three per hour for syndicates struggling at the lower levels where bosses are weaker), but not the idea of awarding the final prize regardless of current state of play.
