Game of chance vs. customer loyalty

I get that this game is designed to make money but I disagree with making chances to win for players a random event.

This game is now becoming a game of chance and is taking away from people being able to boost their stats with gold. This creates player dis-satisfaction. When players are not happy they leave. On the contrary, if the events were gold spend based with sure payout then those that spend to achieve those goals are happy. Creating customer loyalty. Increased loyalty leads to increased profits. This is a win win situation.

People spend whatever they are comfortable with in this game and should not be penalized by random occurrences.

For example during this last boss event, I would rather have to hit the final boss 100 times for 1 kill but get a prize than to kill 50 extra 100 bosses to get junk at the hope of getting a prize. Same spend of gold but one situation creates loyalty and the other creates posts like this.

Lottery games are not allowed in many countries. You buy gold with real money, like buying chips in a online casino. That's illeagal.

Gree, if you wanted the boss to be a gold event why not just increase the hp of the boss?

Why do you have to ruin a perfectly good event by turning it into a glorified slot machine?


You remove a lot of integrity of the game when you have the prizes work through random chance.

The games been going on for almost 3 years - lotteries and gambling involve a chance to win real money. Maybe I missed it, but CC has never advertised or alluded to winning anything similar to a legal public currency.

This is one of the best posts ever. The "chance" aspect of this game is very frustrating. 5 day event, 150 boss wins. But you can't get items to drop. It creates true frustration. Which is not good for a game.

EXACTLY, its not gambling if you have no chance at all to win anything. Light pixels do not count as "winning" anything.

i don't like the chance part of it. i did about 108 bosses and only got 5 per cent attack and was stuck on 2/3 on the other two goals on my free account (funny enough the only weapons i needed was the first weapon's on each goal) . i manged to do two out of the three goals on my main and i only got to lvl 85. surely i should have got the gun with the 10 per cent on my free account seen as i did over 100 bosses. people are not gonna want to waste their gold not knowing rather or not their money is gonna get them the weapon , it just angers people and this is a game it should be fun not a chore.

also i would like to know why us lvl 250's are given such a rough time on the bosses (you shouldn't punish your loyal paying customers). i used a little gold to get to 85 it is just too hard and it sucks the fun out having to wait so long to be full to hit a boss and having to set timers to make sure you hit him every time you have enough health .
