OK I get that..next question is this, is this delay going to have an impact regarding the LTQ event which according to the globe is scheduled to start today. Is that going to be knocked back a day to compensate?
It would be useful if you could include the time zone in the OP - we shouldn't all be expected just to know that the devs are based in PST.
As has been mentioned elsewhere, in each cycle there always seems to be a mismatch at some point between what the calendar says and the actual event start/end times - and it simply should not happen.
When you have this many players and whatever crazy earnings you get from the game you should not be so amateurish with simple things like this. Pull yourselves together and get the basics sorted out!
If they didn't try to cram in so many events this wouldn't happen. God forbid should we have some time with the rest of our non mw life.
Word is it's a total of 50 kills needed to finish the event.
They need a countdown clock on all events and wars.
Why complain so much, notting ever changes, either give up and stop playing or take it for what it is, a good game with rubbish updates and full of glitches and cheats , hopeless customer severice, incorrect start and end times on events , very little information on events prior to when they actually do start,
There's only one good thing about this game and that's the effort put in by the players on this forum to try give information and work out events, with out the help from gree staff,
Ask yourself how hard is it really to provide acurate information or post ingame notices when there's a change prior to to when it occurs

I click to open the game, if there's something going on, I do it (or not). otherwise I just chill out with a cold one, or a snack.

Very unlikely given that it is only a 2 day event and that there is also a FLTQ on at the same time
