Kindle upgrades
For those that have not figured it out... yes gree has stopped supporting kindle directly. that means you wont get your updates from the kindle upgrade location.
you can work around this by looking for 1 mobile market...
download their app, and the you can upgrade from there.
yes, itza PITA, but at least you will be able to "!e!n!j!o!y!" the new event like everyone else.

Good info, since Gree has again locked out all Android tablets on the Amazon app store from doing Raid Boss. Grrrrrrr

those who know app life curve know it's phase 2 of kicking app to the curb, even iTunes confirmed it few months ago... Actually if you allow other applications from other suppliers in your settings you can sideload the current version from 1mobile.com. It is fairly simple, but you cannot buy gold without the GooglePlay installed.
Instructions:
You use a third party instead of the amazon app store for an app. Make sure in kindle settings that you allow for third party apps.
I used 1mobile.com for the source of the *.apk file.
Download the modern war app, basically the google play version, to your computer.
Attach your kindle to your computer.
Transfer the file over into your kindle
Download a file viewing app, like ES File Explorer, on your Kindle Fire
Open ES File Explorer.
Find where you placed the modern war *.apk file and open it.
You will now install the modern war that android phone users are using with all the bells and whistles, and bugs.... but it works
PS. I uninstalled the modern war app from the kindle that was not working before doing any of this. My gamer file remained intact in the inner workings of the kindle and loaded perfectly into the sideloaded application
PPS. To enable third party applications to work on a kindle fire, go into Settings, Device, and press ON for "Allow Installation of Applications From unknown sources".
