because the game was designed so that you had to have your time in to get the best buildings. I didn't level to 185 when I did because I wanted to be level 185, I did it because I wanted casinos. Making LTBs at all somewhat skews that, but I think there should be some degree of difficulty in getting the best buildings rather than have them just handed to you.Originally Posted by GFLEX

it'd be nice if everyone had em just for robbing purposes. But they're gonna remain "timed" which is the right thing to do. Hell if they weren't doing ltb's we'd still be stuck with the same old buildings since the game started.
Easiest thing to do. Allow all LTB available at level 250 for triple the original asking price. If you really want them you have to pay and level up.

I've only been playing for a little over 2 months. I robbed and got enough money for the slice rink when I first started. It was cheap at $900k. The next one, the throwback arcade was cheap as well and I was able to buy that. The defense building was way too expensive for me and I was not able to buy it. I don't really know that I missed out because I am trying to build my IPH. I've been out robbing non-stop and have been able to build 2 of the chop shops. I am $4 million away from being able to upgrade one of them to a level 2 before it's over. My IPH before I got my chop shops was in the 50-60k range, I think. It's now $141k. I'm level 97 and leveling up fairly quickly in my opinion. My point is that these buildings are obtainable if you put in the work. I do think they should be limited time only.

What they need to do is, revamp the store. New weapons and buildings. Take out the "Vulcan Blaster" (Att: 510 Def: 474 for 780 gold) Really? who would spend that much on 510/474 weapon? Rock Cafe? 175 gold for 110k payout in 12 hrs? Looks cool, but come on...
When a new member joins, they should be given 2 of each LTB that they missed. Also, once built, we should get the rewards for lvls 2-10 automatically, and just be on the honor system that we'll actually reach lvl 10. We should also be able to purchase any modifier with in game cash.
But seriously, making previous LTB's available at lvl cap is a great idea.
I'm missing the best income growth LTB around and I still don't want LTBs re-released.
I don't hate the rock cafe at all. It's still a nice supplement to my income, even though most of my buildings are in the millions in collection. I tend to throw up rock cafe or wedding chapel upgrades preferentially when I'm waiting for a WSFG/newLTB/NIS upgrade.
Yep. And many of us came in when the LTBs were crazy steep.
I've had "proud owner of toy box" in my sig for almost a full year because I worked hard to rob an unprecedented amount (none/minimal iph/robbery mods back then) to get those 2x35M buildings when I only had 60-75k iph.
When you rob a level 1 pagoda now, you tend to get >$200K off that. When you robbed a level 1 pagoda a year ago, you only got $48-52k from it. New players are in the best time ever to rob players who were richer than back then, and yet they're still moaning about not being able to IPH.
The night club used to be an achievement. Now, it can be robbed in a day's time. Buildings like Transtech / Dockside Mill were *stupid* steep compared to the the rest of buildings out around that time, but most of us kept our heads down and iph'd if we could not afford it. Can't afford the LTB? Upgrade your lofts/NC. Players now are whining about getting old buildings, pretty sad tbh.
Many of them are the same players who join syndicate-independent "High IPH target rooms" and pass around rich targets to RIVAL syndicate players....It made no sense to me until I realized it's out of malicious intent to get these rich rivals to give up and sell off their buildings. Unfortunately for them, I'd leave my buildings uncollected before I sold off any of them, and most players with higher IPH than mine share similar sentiments.

It would be nice to be able to get the old ltb's, yes.
But they should not be put in the store permanently, I could see them as a week long special chance at getting (?) Ltb at same price and upgrade costs minus any rewards, as a last chance at them. Do 1 once a month during its anniversary or something. Even if it fell in at the same time as the new ltb's, it could be hard for some to get them still. I've seen other games give players the opportunity to get retired or limited items at a later date for special occasions.

I've got most, if not all ltb's. I would not be offended if they were re-released.

In this case it does because they were available for a limited time never to be seen again and, none have been seen since.
I'm sure this was also made clear when they were first launched.
It wouldn't surprise me if this changes though and will probably be rolled out in 2017 or so.
Someone made a good point re the store. It has been out of date for far too long along with other things. Its just worthless now. Buildings need to be revised and NC upgrade times need to come down. I dont want to say what a lot of people say but it just seems that the game experience is suffering because the focus is too skewed in one direction.
I think the difference is that the gold sales are a form of currency, while the ltb is a unit.
You don't see the same limited time quest being re-played, like I want another shot to get the Original Syn Bugatti, as does my entire syndicate. It was named after us, but It was way out of a top 50 teams price range though :/.
Gold as currency is what keeps this game's servers running.
My 2cents though. You have pagoda and have certainly paid your dues over the long term in this game.
