Kill the process via settings in your phone
DONT CLEAR DATA
you can clear the cache
and when cache clear kill the process and restart your phone.
This has helped me quite a few times and never had an issue. If properties dont show right away just try to
build something in its place so you can trigger a "New Data" update and game will return back to normal!!
I missed several hits in the last minutes of battles that were just hits away from wins because of the lag.
That clear cache doesn't help the android lag issues

I'm glad it wasn't just me. I was ready to throw both ipods and my ipad through a window before I decided it must be my wireless router.
I went off my wi fi and jumped on another, went to the regular phone service..went back..restarted..restarted again..hard reset..NOTHING WOULD HAPPEN..spin spin spin spin spin for ever.
I only get lag on my droid when I click on a rivals profile. Takes 2 minutes to load and half the time I get a pop up that says crime city has stopped responding do you want to wait or exit. Then it works when you hit wait. Sent ticket and the response for the lag was try taking a photo lol.
