I suggest gree consider this as helpful advice.
I'm pretty sure Gree doesn't care about your advice. If you'd like to test my theory, try sending them a ticket, advising them of your helpful notion, and let's see what response you get back.

With a mobile game that is 100% dependent on connectivity with a company's server, you will never own the game. Gree has expressed that we own nothing, not even our character nor the the inventory that you have "bought" (I like to view it as renting the right to use). This is why it is against TOS to sell your account or any other tangible (or intangible) aspect of the game. Gree can shut down and delete your account at any time, and they can shut down their servers at any time, for any reason they see fit. And they will shut down their servers one day - as soon as the their target market is exhausted (see burnt out) and the marginal cost exceeds the marginal benefit of operating the game.
Might be a stupid question. Is there something in a free market that we can buy but are forbidden to sell?
I guess it sounds ridiculous for outside guys: you spend amounts of time (hours of tapping per day) and money ($100/event) on some pixels which do not belong to you and can be taken back without your consent.

For Call of Duty on PS4, you can either sell the game disc at Amazon or resume the game 10 years later. For Crime City, neither will happen.

That's actually a really good question. I think that is another reason we have to view all of our purchases in this game as rentals. If you rent a vehicle, you can't sell that vehicle to someone else without it being considered theft or fraud. That doesn't apply to all rentals though. For instance, you can rent a Redbox movie and never return it, and even sell it, and you would just be charged $25 for the movie. But that's a different case where there is a stipulation that allows the rental to be converted to ownership. Kind of a lease to buy kind of thing.

My only other thought would be anything that requires a license to do business, like a liquor license. I don't think you can technically re-sell that without a license, but I could be wrong.

We are talking about resell of car rental, not resell of car. We rent car and sell the usage to others as long as no insurance problems occur. If we view all of our purchases in this game as rentals and pay to rent mobile pixels as long as Gree holds the server, why can't we sell this rental to others?

When you rent a car, only the person who bought and is listed on the contract can drive the car, right? Or does that only apply to the insurance coverage? I never understood why Gree won't let us sell things to each other. It would be a great marketplace. Buy things from other players with X percentage going to Gree. Some things transferable with in-game cash, others with gold. Maybe some things with multiple currency options. It would spice things up, add more control to a player's experience, build even more community involvement, and Gree could still make money. Offer up the super weapons at billions per, or an equivalent amount of gold.

I have deviated even further from the OP, but threads evolve.

Why all the analogies? This game is just the same as any other computer software. You purchase a program but you don't own it; all you own is a license to use it.

As for Zora's post about paying for intangible entertainment; it's one that has been made before but is wrong. The price you pay for each of those may vary between providers but is essentially fixed (the same is true of the software above). I'm sure Gree's lawyers would argue the price here is fixed as zero - the game is free to play - but only a fool would say its possible to do so now with any hope of being remotely competitive.

The same applies to the rental argument. The cost there is per day or per month, but is still fixed. Other than those bits in Gree games where the price is fixed - buying crates, gold buildings or decorations, goodfella status etc, it's just gambling or an auction through and through.

lol i should put this in my signature or something ..

this game requires more than just the money! time, brain, effort, commitment and a piece of your life! we not only spend money but spend a part of our life! we're all guilty of "spending" .. so stop cornering people who spend money! i really wish nobody buys gold but i have no problem with ppl who do because it is their choice. i just wish that this notorious company doesn't get ppl's money ..

We are all fools and Gree knows it, this is why they constantly pile insane demands upon us to build our character profile.

Furthermore we neither rent nor purchase, we just pay for the privilege to use their code, yes if you pay you should get the extra items, not be placed into a lottery
