243 and 182 are numbers to know!

    Hi everyone!

Too much drama going on on these forums. I thought I'd help everyone out with a little bit of what I call... battle theory/strategy.

What are the numbers 243 and 182 you ask? Those are the "magic numbers" for arena/war battles.

If your knight hits the opponent's MAIN knight with a REGULAR attack and it deals 243 or more, your special attack (on that same knight that you did the first hit) will kill it:
    ([243*1.5=364.5] + 243 = 607.5).

If your knight hits the opponent's OTHER knight with a regular attack and it deals 182 or more, your special attack (on that same knight that you did the first hit) will kill it:
    ([182*1.5=273] + 182 = 455).

EDIT: Some of the others have brought up a good point with critical hits (which also do 1.5x damage). Subsequently, I suppose it's good to memorize 365 and 273 as well (but is less useful because critical hits are random.. and you might get the numbers confused)

You should be able to recognize a 'main' knight's energy bar vs the other knight's energy bar, right? :]

With that said, this IS helpful.. I would hope you're actually looking at those numbers while you're playing and not just pushing the 'fast-forward' button hoping you'd win every time with wild special attacks. It's always good to be cognizant about your own knight and how it stacks up to the other knights. If your main knight takes a hit that is 346 from a special attack, expect it to die from the next hit from that opponent's same knight (the same goes for 273 on your other knights).

Is this even useful? Glad you asked! Sure it is! You've played this game for countless hours and so I'm sure you see and recognize numbers during your battles so it's good to know if your knight will survive certain attacks so you can SAVE YOUR SPECIAL ATTACKS for another turn!!

    Hope this helps!

    Thank you!

Yes, I am guilty of fast forwarding.

I think most experienced players are somewhat aware of this in terms of gauging the HP left, but not with actual numbers - helps a lot

    Isn't it just 1.5x = crit, not 1.5x + x as you said...

EDIT: Nvm... I think I misunderstood what you were trying to say. I get it now.

That is what I was about to say. It is not 1.5 times X plus X, it is just 1.5 times X.

I hope you're joking. Not sure though, so:

You hit him once to see how high your attack is, then special attack him. That's what she's adding together.

She's saying a special attack + a regular attack, as long as the regular attack does 243+ damage, will take out an opponent's main knight

Correct. A critical hit and a special attack do the same amount of damage, but critical hits are random.
