Remember the one fltq where instead of having to hit the target 12 or 13 times, you hit it once and it was done. Everyone finished in the first 10-15 min. Gree you did nothing. Didn't take the units away or made us go through the whole thing again.
Remember the first boss event, when you worked as a faction to get 400-450-500 boss kills. When you hit the boss when the goal wasn't on the hits still counted. If you had enough active members to get a total of 700 boss kills (i think it was that much) then you got 7/7 rewards. Gree you did nothing. You didn't reset the event then. You let it play out.
So why now do you reset the event in the middle of it? It just doesn't make sense

Remember the first epic boss faction event they released? All the boss kills accumulated towards the next faction goal, they let that one go also.
