Gold guarantees an opening, but not what you'll get. You won't get the "better luck next time message".

yes, you could get a weapon(that has stats not worth the gold) or a snowbrick, or i think one time a was given an extra mafia member... lmao

Remember, if you get all six useless weapons, you get a 50k/50k-ish weapon with a +15% armor attack mod. So those useless weapons might be what you're looking for XD
