My town has a traffic light every 100 ft. It bothers the hell out of me so I wrote them a letter. You know what they said....don't drove through town. Can you believe the nerve.
Oh well...maybe I'll just stop driving through town.

I'd much prefer the cycle to be monthly, so it would align with pay periods etc. Having it as a three week cycle makes it hard to budget/track your expenditure - which may be the reason it's the length it is...
I like wars once a month too. I want to see more events between wars. Some individual, some faction, some I love, and some I hate. I just want more variety in events. If people don't like case events or pvp events they don't have to do them. I feel like when there is more time between wars there is more anticipation and excitement. The wars are great, I don't want them to become a grind. That's why I like the medals, it made the whole cycle cohesive, with the war being the big finale.
I like once per month as well. Most of us put a good amount of effort into WD. We just about loose the weekend doing so and once per month just makes good sense. Easier to budget like mentioned before. But I'm guessing Gree likes three weeks also for the ever rotating position the weekends fall in the month as well as the cash flow. None the less, I'd feel less of the burn out with it stretched to a once monthly event.
At the end of the month, pay day for most, bigger gree profit but they woul never see it like that.
More wars = more money - not in real life
More wars = more money for Gree. Since it is impossible to start a meaningful new player it will eventually kill the game but for now Gree's coffers are full and those in charge of the game are happy. Its like a kamikaze built for a 1 way flight.
Happily retired, my only regret is not doing it sooner
If it were monthly, it could be scheduled on the first Friday for example. If the first Friday was a significant day, such as Christmas etc, then it could slip a week that month, but get back on track next month. We would have some 4 week cycles and some 5 week ones, but that doen't matter. We'd also have plenty of time to properly schedule Epic Boss events over 7 days again.
Doh. Christmas is not likely to be the first Friday in December any time soon...
