I have been sitting around for a couple days wondering the same thing. Nothing to do
Go our raiding. That what I'm doing. Kill other maps do things you would have done before guild wars started finish regular quests. I have no more attcking quests to do over 215 quests completed for attacking rivals

I agree I would prefer to know the type and start date/time of events beforehand. I understand Gree does it in some of their other similar games. It would be great if they start doing it for us as well.
I also agree a little game down time is nice. Especially the period of time leading up to a war.

It's nice having the time off especially those still finishing the quest that didn't get the benefit of gree's glitch. However starting to get restless and wondering when it will start? It's been saying coming soon for awhile now. If it starts tomorrow whatever it it is will only be a 2 day - 2.5 day event unless they're daring to over lap it with war 😳. Point is ready for a new quest lets get going!

Whenever it does start it seems to be the right play to jump on it quickly. A few times got screwed with too much XP as a result but most of the time it's an advantage (kill 25 bosses instead of 450, wow so i get all boss kills counted from last time right away?, hey after a few hits won in war all of a sudden all wins from last war counted?).
Oh and the fact that anytime ive gone quickly after box on day one i get all 10 yet when late to the game i endure finishing with only 9.

Hasn't this round of events started at 12:00pm pst? Decembers events started on est I do believe...so tomorrow around 12:00pm pst would be my guess

Trust me guys..the last few days have been the most peaceful in quite a while..
as the joke says..game went down, spent time with family..they seem like good people etc etc..
I actually wldnt mind these kind of breaks between LTQs its brilliant..
On the topic of whether they should revela the type etc... well naah.. dont want them to write an additional code to tell us and then screw it up due to a glitch and we screw gree over the forum..
we'll take wahtever ltq comes...
