    Future of Kingdom Age

There are a lot of thoughts about this game. Some think its near end and Gree is getting what they still can. Others think this game will last for still a long time. There is no way to tell for sure. Fact is Gree has changed a lot in the game lately and not for the better.

Whatever you think of it it doesnt matter. What does matter is Gree. There are still a lot of players buying gems for a game which future is uncertain to say the least. This is wrong!

Gree please come here on forum and tell us your intentions with the game. This is fair to all players, but for paying customers a must!

PS: CJ i know you post in MW forum, but for some reason havent been active in KA forum.

KA has succes due to the amount off advertising and leverage they got on the market. Also the mobile marked keeps expanding which delivers them easy victims on a silver plate.

If we talk about the games itself it's clear they are not good designed and all is centred around money accumulation.

So is the game dead? Yes, completely... You can't fix anymore what they screwed up in balance.
So will the game dissappear? Not yet, growing mobile marked, attraction as a 'popular' game provider. So give it some more time... Before gree disappears with this kind off games.

The last i saw is that they are copying one on one a game that hit top revenue grossings charts... CoC... And for me that says a lot... Creative development? Nope... Just make what has success and brings money on the table.

It's dead but just won't lay down.

See Monster Quest as an example of whether you will get notice before it happens.

This game is dead for me. Same for Modern War. I sold everything and I gave everything to my guild. I prefer now to play at dragon realms. I think the design is more viable but for how long, we do not know.

It just does not make sense to give so much units after each event! This kill the game right from the start of guild wars.

Ah well, I had a good time in KA and MW since I played with a great group of people but DR is indeed better.

    Only my two cents!

I am not familiar with this, can you please explain?

IMO, KA will be around for a long time - the forum represents a small sample size of KA players and probably a smaller sample size of Gree's income. Their goal is to make money(as with any good business model). The problem with their business model is they don't have enough support staff and worse off, they are terrible at coding OR they intentionally bug events...either of which is grounds for lawsuits. Seeing them on the top of the iTunes money making App is a decent indicator that they are still making a lot of money. Not to mention the cost to keep KA running is so low as is the cost of their support staff...seeing they have what, 2 on the forum and 5-10 answering emails?

Another point is that even if the game was about to be put down (RIP old yeller), they wouldn't tell us.

Why do u think dragon realm will have a different fate? All the games u played were run by the same person. Crazy Stats inflation and cash cow milking will soon to come. But they need some time to grow the pool of players in DR, just enjoy while u can

Not exactly dead, maybe it's in ICU with I.V. meds keeping its heart pumping, intubated and connected to a mechanical ventilator. But the "doctors" are prescribing the wrong dose. So it will eventually die.

as far as i know in MQ they just stopped doing events. and instead of answering one of every 20 tickets, no tickets at all were answered.

This and the other older games for GREE will not last that long. Although this is the only game I play on my Iphone, it's sad that some members haven't learned their lesson and proceeded to play other GREE games. I mean...why? For me after this, it's over....no more GREE games.

So the question still remains : The Future ......i can not understand if so many players are in the mindset that this game will cease then WHY still throw money at it ? Its like beating a dead horse ! the amount of money some players spend on this game just blow me away, why would someone want 50+mil in stats when most are around 10-20mil , i can see no future on levelling up or trying to catch top guild stats unless your rich and dont care about life!
it will be a sad day from a friends point within this game when it gets shut down, and at the end of this what do you have to show for ALL the money spent ?? a dead horse!

    the future?

Well, I hope it does not end, but I often think that GREE can't be that wild about keeping KA going as they dont have an android version. Well, that may make it easier to keep up. If our chat monitor person is no longer checking in, I would say that is bad news, too. It may mean they are afraid to make commitments. I don't play the other games.

And, if KA stopped, I would talk to my friends and guild mates before I committed time and money to another game. I have met such nice people playing this game and I really like the multi-tasking and the way the individual and guild goals intereract. That said, I really do not love the box events. seems to only reward those who are lucky enough to gem early and often. The scratchers are a little aggravating, too. If I wanted to play a lottery, I would just get a megabucks ticket. I like the part of this game that requires thought and action, not random gifts from GREE. Of course, GREE, you can give me one of those monster scratch prizes.... LOL.. how is that for being hypocritical.

KA will die the death it needs. It is nothing more than a rigged casino game with a flashy, albeit weak, game experience wrapped around it!! IMO good riddance, I'm tired of spending money for a weak game experience!!! Looking forward to being banned!!!
