    RIP Oberyn Martell

Such a shame to see him go, and Pedro Pascal is such a great actor. The guy's acting completely blew my mind.

    Please discuss.

It's almost like you've never read the books...

They made his death on the show more vicious than it actually was in the book.

Didn't Ser Gregor reach up and gouge his thumbs into Martell's eyes or something as Martell was going crazy trying to get a confession out of him before he died? How much more vicious could it have been?

I hope they left in one of the best quotes in the book... "First I killed her screaming whelp, THEN I ****d her..."

In the book he just plowed his head with his fist, if my memory is correct. The TV show is where you get the eye gouging and blowing up the head as if it were a tomato. And the "Ellia Martell. I killed her children. I r aped her, and then I smashed her head in like this". Paraphrasing here, don't remember the exact quote.
