Gree's brilliant marketing:
-Ruin box events by making them cost 3k gems per player...Check
-Ruin Raid boss by making it cost 10k gems per player...Check
-Ruin Epic boss by making it impossible and cost $500,000,000 gold and 9k gems...Check
OK, this game officially sucks.
Where does it say that everyone should be able to finish every single quest? Wouldn't that make the game more stupid?
By your definition, what if Raid Boss took 3k gems to finish but you can only afford 1.5k gems? Wouldn't that be your fault for not making more money to afford 3k gems? Where does it end? I'll tell you: it ends on exactly where you can afford to finish the quests. Am I right?

I can't respond to the poll since none of the choices are my vote, however, having multiple kingdoms, I can tell you that while I only dropped <250 gems across all of them, I opened and had 35 gems before one kingdom finally got #10.
I opened, on timers, every hour I was awake everyday of the event. The kingdom that got #10 had 9 after 2 days. I got #10 with 4hrs left in the event.
The others ended with 9,9 & 8. Yes, the others 9's were there for a minimum of 2 days also.
I understand that the odds for gaining #10 are worse than the others, however, as one would indicate, the 'perception' that it's easier to get during the early hours (days) v the later part shouldn't be allowed and would be cheating in my opinion. If we're playing a game of odds, then those odds should be there from day and minute one to the last minute, not fluctuate across the event. I should have the same 2% chance at #10 on day 1 and I do on day 7...
I could scarcely imagine a professional casino, or other business that ran operations based on odds, having their clientele accept floating odds based on time they're playing. Think I wouldn't frequent that establishment upon learning this information.
I will say this, after I received #9 on the one kingdom, I noticed a SHARP increase in 100/100 units and sorry, so much so, I was shocked. If I had the time, I should've logged all my opening to see what this worked out to with just my kingdoms, % wise.
Has GREE publicized these odds anywhere? And how many units/awards are in the event to help dilute the chances of something good? I'd ask this too, if I have 9, should I still get 100/100 units? Should the unit payout be increased due to my increased level in the event, such as an LTQ? I got a few 2000/2000 units after reaching 9 that I didn't earlier, so I'm wondering if this is tied together somehow...

Those events are philosophically based on a game called Kompu Gacha and in that game the odds of gettimg the final card are around 8%.

Your sample set is still way way too small to see/calculate their odds. You would need at lease 1,000 to 5,000 openings and logged everyone of them to get an idea of what the percentages are.
Forums attracts complaints, not victories. For every complaint, there could be 5 or more people that got 10 coins free or gem. You just don't know because most would not come on here to boast about it.
