It happens to us all the time. When we are about to manage 8 streak we allways get a splinter with no targets at all. It has happened 2 times this war already and several times last 2-3 wars. The worst was when we ended up with 49 wins and in the last battle got a splinter with no targets and lost with 35k-550. This is not a coincidence.

How about drawing RK at end of streak while barely in top200. Yeah Sunday was a good day for us. Can't remember the last time I saw so many top25 teams. O yes I can when I played in top10

I agree with you guys, it was a disaster, no chance at all this time, even pulled SB multiple times, FUN, some heavy streak units, like Person said ... dirty !!!
we have run into top 15 guilds 3 times this weekend. When we are close to getting 8/8 on our streak. Other than that we get roughly equal guilds, or guilds where all the weak 200 players end up, we tried to build our guild to avoid top 25 AND splinters, only to run into those when we needed to win the most.

I guess that's it's the same "random" algorithm that's used in lockbox events. They give you easy ones at the beginning of streak and approaching the end it gets harder. Too much of a coincidence in wars and confirmed programming for lockbox. Nothing is "random".
It happened for a lower streak as well, 4/4.
When I thought about it, 4/4 took 3 tries, got to 3/4 and get matched with a small guild all very high stats, no targets, other than the castle, mega attack might have worked on a cupple of people.

it happened again just now. 3/4 and 4th we matched up 11 people guild
Just a member of a top 750 guild that right now has 7 out of 8 and our combined attack is around 6.5 mil just ran into a guild that has 15 mil with only 3 ppl now we have got some favourable match ups but why do we always get these guilds when we are one or two away. this is twice now.
It doesn't help when you can't hit anyone, but the answer is to "encourage" the use of credit cards. It's not in Gree's interests to prevent guilds from winning prizes, but it is if they don't spend copiously along the way

We do we splintered from a top 400 guild but we didn't splinter cuz we are super strong, we just got pissed cuz we were doing most of the work/ spending alot of money while others weren't doing anything.

It definitely is the case. the last few of the streak have been tough matchups for the last few wars. Though I guess I can wear my "We met SB and all I got was this lousy t-shirt" shirt.
