Just because the last war was hands down your best income yet from the FUN v RK face-off, not to mention that almost every other position was also its highest since you started the wars... it does not mean that every damn LTQ between that war and the next has to require the same amount of gems to complete. Our guild was doing okay through the Heroic portion of the Raid Boss, and then we got to lv 16/33... I want to know, while we're having to empty our bank accounts to attempt to remain any hopes of staying competitive, where's our compensation prizes? I know some folks that could've gotten quite a few hours with some escorts. We're past the point of hookers here, and we're talking some high-end services that senators and congressman indulge in at the amount of money some folks are putting out.

Simply put, you're morons for thinking your paid players (besides FUN and RK) are going to continue to pay such large quantities of cash to see these events through to completion. You keep upping (by ridiculous amounts) the standards required for every quest, and then sit back as if its nothing. I see that you basically have one person (sometimes two!) on the forum attempting to fight fires, but you give them a small canister against what has quickly turned into a raging inferno. Your business model may work to aid your failing fourth quarter statement, but it's going to tank you in the long run.

Sorry, but I think I'd rather hire that escort than give you anymore money. At least I'll derive some sort of satisfaction from it.

Also, Ethics. You need to reread them, as you're seriously failing in a few aspects of them.

Event difficulty is set to ensure FUN and RK still have to pay out to finish them, thanks to the cretinous policy of giving insanely strong bonuses making them (FUN especially) all powerful. Everybody else just has to accept that they are cattle of no consequence.

I have to agree with Lys and his elegant words. This Raid Boss event is not fun. We plowed through Normal having a great time while building morale in the guild. Then we hit a brick wall. Heroic 13/33 became extremely difficult as the level 75 hp more than doubles from the level 65 boss. We declared that we would not spend any gems on this, because the reward is way too low for the amount of money it would take for us to advance.

You failed. We would have spent if the reward was greater or if it was easier to advance. This guild, which shall remain unmentioned, has the full regen upgrade and 47 active members. We should be able to do more than this. You have just made it not worth the effort or the money. So, you lose our gems and money. Your model is failing.

This was predicted by me an many others some time ago. In order to keep these events a challenge to their biggest spenders they have to continually increase their difficulty. The rewards then make them even stronger and so up goes the difficulty on the next round. If they havent already, the raid boss events and the guild war events are going to be only for the very high spenders.

The situation has no where to go but down. I will never buy another gem and I dont see why any smart person would.

The last raid boss was tough, but this one is impossible for all but FUN, RK and a few others that gather gemmers in 60 member guilds. And even they will struggle. This is just bad business in general. For most good legit guilds (48-56 members) you are looking at 4-5 mountains per person. WTF?? Thats just stupid.

People keep not understanding that GREE (and other games like this) do not care about anyone but the 1% whales. The business model is milk them for as much as they can, period. Well, we ranked in top 50 last war so we have gem power ..but we're sitting this one out. Anything beyond level 15 is ridiculous. Granted it can be done, but why should we reward Gree for their horrible strategy.

Thank you, Rastlin, for sharing this article. I will surely read it. GREE's actions are not a surprise. They are just disappointing. I, and many others, enjoyed this game and don't want it to continue the way it's going. That is the real issue. We see the end and it is disappointing.

Have to agree with the sentiment of "Im disappointed Gree."
What's the point of striving to finish LTQs, spending crazy money on gems to do well in war, and coordinating with our guild members and allies to accomplish goals when our gains in strength pale in comparison to the absurd increases in difficulty Gree imposes to obtain top guild loot?
Why don't you care about the rest of us Gree? WTF?!!!?

The escort definitely sounds like a better deal than throwing your money at Gree. At least the Escort will give you more Fun, pleasure, n treat u better at a fair constant price whereas with Gree all u get is constant disappointments seeing our fellow players being gouged n treated so unfairly by Gree, plus all the bugs Gree like to feed us like we r their lizards.

If FUN and RK took this seriously, and declined to play Gree's game then maybe there'd be a change to make things fairer for those who do pay to play but don't have bottomless bank accounts. You guys have the power, so use it for the benefit of all.

You can't call a game fun when its about spending the most and brainless clicking and boredom.

Many do play this game due to other players. Take away the players and this game suddenly is way less attractive.
