Thumbs up Most profitable mission target?

Anyone know whats the best mission target to spend energy on? In terms of cash/energy spent, the Fighter Hangar at the Overrun Airbase seems like the best choice at ~$1233/point of energy. Can anyone confirm?

Btw, this seems more profitable than going with the game and attacking targets outlined in the "Goals folder".

That mission seems to have the highest cash/energy ratio that I've seen, but you have to hit it twice, so it's $617/energy point not $1233 if you're calculating the payout as the average between the highest and lowest possible.
    Level: 158
    Attack: 81500
    Defense: 103500
    Income: 420000

    Battle Points: 1245000 [MAJOR - 1st]

Yes you are right, it is ~$617/energy. I wasn't halving the values from adding the min/max cash D=

For some reason it shows that I have to hit this 3 times.

Update: Although the Flight hangar appears to have the best flat cash/energy ratio, the units used, Stryker and AA Vehicle are expensive (300k/225k) and have a relatively high casualty rate (game says "medium"). The Advanced Destoryer in Naval Battle however, requires cruisers and submarines, the former costing $225k with a close to zero casualty rate and the latter costing $66k with a "medium" casualty rate (seems much lower than the Stryker and AA Vehicle though). I've made about 50mil of the destroyer and haven't lost a single cruiser and only a few subs. On the other hand, at least 50% the cash earned from the flight hangar is spend on unit replacements.

tldr version: Advanced Destroyer in the map Naval Battle has the best final cash earned/energy spent ratio as of yet.

I haven't looked into the new maps with the recent patch, if anyone does let us know what you find.

In the space command center, tanker truck pays out $2000-600000. Only takes 2 hits of 288 energy.
Costs a lot for the 18 mobile artilleries and 9 rapid-fire attack vehicles though. Also it's risky because of the minimum only being $2000. I'll look around and see if there's anymore.

A few Decent missions i found. I think the magnetic railgun is best because it gives consistent amount of money and low energy cost.

    1) Space Command Center - Tanker Truck - 2*288 energy - $2000-$600000 - 18 mobile artillery, 9 rapid-fire attack vehicles

    2) Microprocessor Facility - Solar Power Center - 2*284 energy - $64000-520000 - 30 strykers, ?? biowarfare troops (already have lots of those so i dont know how many you need)

    3) Microprocessor Facility - Police Truck - 3*290 energy - $30000-$660000 - 5 B-52 Bombers,15 Mobile artillery

    4) Nuclear Arsenal - Magnetic Railgun - 2*288 energy - $200000-$500000 - 12 Mobile Artillery, 28 Stryker

    Average $ per energy spent:

    1) Tanker Truck - $523/energy
    2) Solar Power Center - $514/energy
    3) Police Truck - $397/energy (actually not that good once i worked it out)
    4) Magnetic Railgun - $608/energy

The Advanced Destroyer in naval battle is only $576/energy, so the magnetic railgun is now the new best mission to loot off of. Except like someone said, dunno about unit casualty rates.

what about high yield missions for those of us still on the south east asia map and below?

does anyone know of a good high $$$ yield mission that does not involve a significant amount of energy and expensive unit loss?

these have been the few i've been hitting up (none of which have been consistently worth it), but i am guessing there are some hidden gems i'm missing.

guerrilla commander in the insurgent block- cash:$126,000-$907,2000 energy: 2796 (233 x 12) ....usually lose 3-4 chinooks (45k/each). sometimes i've gotten as low as 130k, another time i got around 856k! haven't been paying attention to lose items for this

general en-joo in military base - cash:$277,200-$630,0000 energy: 2664 (222 x 12)...usually lose a bunch of drone spy planes (dunno specific amount) but i picked up two en-joo's tank (19/16) in 2/5 completions.

military tent in trident beachhead - cash:$315,000-$567,000 energy: 2568 (214 x 12)...expect to lose 2-5 APCs...over 8 completions i picked up 2 siege hovercrafts (14/10) and some artillery (i think, but not sure which one)

    thanks all!

@jphil: You're better off doing the "goals" the game gives you, since you get a flat cash amount for it which is usually more than what you get for doing the 2 missions themselves, unless its the "boss" unit in the map. In addition, you get cash for clearing the entire map the first and fourth(?) time. When you get to Naval Battle, you can start spamming the Adv Destroyer, $189k - 623k for 370x2 energy.

@JMC: Thx alot for the info, the railgun seems nice, just below the flight hangar (617 vs 608) although it uses ground units too so I'm not sure if the casualties might overlap the extra cash compared to the destroyer (549? I think your calc is off).

thanks 501. i actually left that post as i painstaking await for my shipyard to be upgraded so i can get cruiser needed for the coveted advanced destroyer in the naval battle haha.

also though, i don't have the cash for some of the units required for the battles beyond the insurgent block, partly because i caught on to the game a bit late and neglected to always have 1 land expansion, 1 building, 1 vault and 1 upgrade going at a time...so since i'm still in the catch-up phase, most of my money has been tied up. i figured they would be better in the long run. oh yeah, and my air field isn't upgraded for the spectre gunship needed for completion of the next map yet. i have been focused on upgrading some money buildings first to increase income per hour.

in any case, maybe some other people out there are in the same boat, or, at the very least, are in need of some cash without taking a big hit in units and energy

Heh, I was in the exact same place as you w/ the spectre gunship. I used my energy on clearing earlier maps and just waited a few days. It also helps to do the other missions on that map partially (ex 4/5) so when you do get the gunship, you can breeze through the map and get loads of $$$.

Also, doing missions may get you much more money than money buildings, or at least thats the case w/ me. I have 1850 energy so I can do the destroyer 5 times from full energy, and it takes 9 hours to refill from empty, which is about the time I sleep on fri/weekends (okay maybe I sleep a lot more but whatever =P). Here's the math:

    (189000+623000)/2/2/370/(60/3)*3600 = $98757/hour

You can copy/paste this into google for confirmation

    (189000+623000)/2 = average money
/2 cause you have to hit it twice
    /370 energy per hit
60/3 = energy per second, 53/3 for Iran
Result is $/second, *3600 seconds in 1 hour

This is assuming your energy bar never caps (becomes full)

If you play as Iran, its $118000/hour, $19243 more

Calc isn't off, since you said that i just figured out that the payouts from missions vary for some reason. KCh is a higher level than me so that can't be it. The hangar you're talking about is actually $647.5/energy for me. Advanced Destroyer pays out 198450-654150 for me and not 189K-623K like you're seeing.

Hm, thats funny. It seems you're getting 5% more than me. Maybe you have some unit w/ extra payouts from missions, like the unit hauler from Crime city?

It is likely that he leveled up the map by completing all the missions. The payouts increase as the map level increases.
