Is the casino even worth it anymore?

I'm nearing 185 and need to figure out if its worth it. I've got close to 7mil IPH realized (higher on paper) and my money lately goes to the ltbs. So since I probably won't get a chance to upgrade it to a high level, and the big foot print, do you all think its worth it?

Level of nightclubs?
I built one then upgraded it to level 2 (casino) in case i didn't get another one b/c of cheap LTB's like the big top. I haven't got around to my next casino yet, so i'm glad i got it to lvl 2.
BTW the Casino takes a week to build, so be careful.

It's the best non-LTB, non-NC building in the game. Basically it comes down to whether LTBs will follow the path of the circus, or return to being IPH-boosting monsters.

Either way, I'm currently working on my casinos, so long run you'll probably want them. Whether to build them now or not - wait and see what the next LTB is, I'd suggest.

Before LTBs it was (at level 10) second only to the nightclub for output. So probably worth your while even if it'll be a slower upgrade path than might have been

Why would you not put up a building that even at Level 1 pays out over $1M per 24 hours (the best collection time IMO)? You should dump lower end buildings if you need room. Also, once you reach Level 185 you will get a goal to build one, and get a reward of over $11M.

I see what you mean about never having upgrade time. I think its a pretty easy argument to at least get 2 LV1s now, and upgrade them as time allows (though they'll always come behind NCs and Pagodas). You should have trash buildings that you can sell to make space, or you have plenty of space if you've already sold trash buildings.

If your income is great enough that you are time-limited for LTBs instead of money-limited, then you should look at d(IPH)/dt by which they will not fare so well, but using my modified ROI based on my collection times and factoring in opportunity cost scaled to new income, they still look pretty good: (sorry about formatting)

On straight dIPH/t Casinos come out ahead of everything except LTBs and NCs. Palms are close, but still demonstrably worse.

Casinos are pimp. They are a sign of distinction. I almost didn't report a guy with two level ten casinos on level 65 because they looked so pimp.

I mean, you can build one of these ghetto hoods with all these lower crap buildings, but drop a casino in the middle of them and bam!!! You're stylin and profilin! I mean, the whole point of the game is to make a pimped out hood right?

He could have been camping from the start of the game - all buildings used to be unlocked on lvl 1.
