I started no-banking last war, and it was well worth it. I had under 50 losses, so I gained money by no-banking during war.
And even through all this mess, I'm still CAMPING as a FREE player. It's possible, you just have to be smart about it.

Possibly, or possibly not. One time I forgot to "lose" my excess cash before an MW war began and in the very first battle I got smacked about something rotten and lost it all. That was well over 100 attacks, and probably more than $30 million. The account was either high 50s or very low 60s level at the time.

That said, the old game can be played if you wish by simply dropping mafia so you're invisible to most of the monsters (I say most as there's always a few who float just under 500 mafia and can see lower own). I've done that to avoid the mayhem during PvP events

I agree the game isnt what it used it be but you can't blame Gree for taking people's money. Gold players have ruined this game. Instead of swallowing their pride when they get beaten and robbed they throw they're hand in their pocket. This direction the game is going was only enevitable.

you misspelled inevitable. Crime City is a zero sum game. In order for you to win, someone else must lose. To that end players will seek any advantage they can to secure said result. This includes buying gold. It's an option of the game. Why should people not buy gold simply to meet your standard of fair play? you don't think its worth spending gold on pixels? cool don't. but to fault other players for taking full advantage of their options is beyond idiotic.

JBE, a lot of us free veterans have already quit forum and hard to unite people.

Forum here has a lot of Gree defenders who started this game within 1 year and they have no idea what the game was like back in 2011 and early 2012.
They enjoy the feeling of flying stats and running a 2 month hood robbing those 2 year free campers. They don't need to know wthell IpH or math is. No pain, Yes gain!

No matter how reasonable a proper complain is, there always will be replies like "Stop whining, Spend or delete game, Even the s*** that Gree took smells good".
That's why Gree can keep going on with his bully, new spenders will always like the their new weapon and defend Gree at frontline.
Trampstamp is the true winner, he already predicted the future of CC and walked away with repect.



As I can expect, if you are not a veteran, you will just think I'm whining here.
HOWEVER! Let me tell you one thing, Funzio created this game as a strategy game, and it indeed was. Not anymore now.

Why do people constantly try and make excuses for Gree? There's an ocean of difference between making a profit, and profiteering?

Fact: Gree's main business until the middle of 2012 was gacha games in Japan - which made Tanaka-san a billionaire - until the government there clamped down on such games. The company lost a large part of its value along with the revenue stream. Factions, Syndicates and Guilds are all part of their strategy to recover the lost income from players of these games.

Grrrrr Gree. Been playing for 2 years, am a gold user and there has been a glitch with my hood for over 2 months. Either my buildings are re-building or upgrading simultaneously. Cool u say? not when its gonna take 118,000hrs to complete! Yes, 13yrs to complete!!
I have sent ticket after ticket after ticket and just get the same automated message, they are aware of the problem and have no timeframe when it will be fixed.....Isn't this illegal? Im paying for a service and not receiving it. Some of the buildings are also gold building ie. gentleman club.

I JUST WANT TO BE ABLE TO PLAY THIS FREKIN GAME!

Gree's other ventures have lost a ton of money. CC, MW and KA have been making money hand over fist since the group element was introduced in all three games. They're trying to turn a massive profit into a stupid profit with measures like the ones we've been discussing. But I'm sure the view from your high horse is lovely this time of year.
