The prizes were the same, they just increased the number of teams the prizes were awarded to. The Top 12 teams got the Top 10 prizes. The Top 30 teams got the Top 25 prizes, etc.

Yeah, the 2-player strategy is a brilliant way to get 9 million IP. It certainly had nothing to do with the fact that the player controlling both accounts came on here to say that he averaged over 1600 IP per hit, which meant he obviously hacked an IP bonus. Moron.

even if the guy hadn't cheated and was only getting 400IP per hit like us mere mortals, that would still mean a 2 man crew got 2.25m IP, averaging 1.12m IP per account.

With IP production like that, why not just join a top 3 team and get a better prize?

Each of his accounts averaged 4,636,000 IP. Surely any player who can score that much legitimately is already in a Top 3 team. For comparison, bald zeemer didn't even make Top 50 when he did the 2-man syndicate thing, and he scored between 3 and 4 milion IP. I use bald zeemer to demonstrate how far out of the realm of possibility it is that this guy is legitimate.

I would really hope A&F or any other mod makes a statment dealing with this last weekend. Maybe a statment dealing with the 23 placed team and how so many people got screwed our of prizes because of them. Or they just dont care.
