Update to 3.8.2 crashes game on droids!

I just updated my modern war on my nexus from 3.8.1 to 3.8.2 and now like many others on Google play, the game freezes on start up and won't load!!

Gree please fix!

****EDIT - TEMPORARY FIX***
thanks to everyone who messaged me possible solutions. Glad yo know it's not just me here but all 3.8.2 on android. Below is a fix that let's you collect and raid but I'm not able to go to the maps so can't help this ltq.

Download aptoide (not through play store)
Uninstall modern war on device
In aptoide, which is like a app store, search for modern war and when nothing comes up click on 'search other stores'
Browser will pop up. Look for the 3.8.1.1 version and click install
You should then be able to get back in

- your account will still be there
- You can collect cash and vault it
- you can raid
I can not get to any mini maps

Still hoping for a quick fix from Gree but hope this helps in the meantime

Okay, I'll turn off auto-update for MW then, I'm using the nexus 7 on android 4.3 so I'll probably get similar probalems

Uninstall MW.
download the older apk from 1mobile.com
install

I can confirm 1mobile still has the old version (3.8.1).

1mobile is legit. I use it for the android modern war apk file to sideload on my kindle so i don't have to use the kindle version of modern war. I think they have an app you can download in the google play store...

Thanks yeah. I tried through aptoide and it's not working. I haven't tried uninstalling the game though because I'm very nervous I won't get my account back...

You will lose any prestaging you have done but your account should fine.

shouldn't lose your game/player data with a modern war uninstall...only if you wipe and reformat your whole phone

at least with the kindle, i had to click an option to allow downloads from third party sites. If it wasn't checked, I could only download apps from the amazon store. With the option clicked, I could put the apk files from the computer and the 1mobile app for direct downloading to the kindle...on the the kindle
