This is the main recruiting post for The Crusaders Guild. If you are considering a new guild home, please read this introduction and jump to the last page to see our current recruiting status and requirements.

When do the Guild Wars stop being fun?

The Crusaders (www.thecrusaders.info) have consistently ranked in the top 40 in wars, finishing as high as 18th as of this post.

Our members like being at the top of list, and we want to have fun doing it. But when you start dreading the arrival of your iTunes bill, resenting the other members for not ‘stepping up’, or playing purely to reach a mandate, maybe something is wrong.

Our Guild discussed this, and we decided there is a balance between fun and glory. We have established minimum goals easily met by active players without gem use. Players exceed those levels because they want to, when they want to. Members contribute to the success of the guild in many ways, and all of those efforts are appreciated.

We enjoy the game, but we don’t feel a need to put the GREE exec’s kids through college or buy their vacation condos. We just want to have fun and win some good awards while we’re doing it.

Fun but not fanatic… That’s us.

That is the price of stat inflation, just like the dollar doesn't go as far as it used to.
