What do you guys think about Defence playing a roll in boss events? especially since we dont have health regen modifiers yet and the fact that we will have syndicate boss events, i believe having defence as a working function during boss events could be beneficial to all players.
How it would work.
Every Tier of defence you have the boss attack power is reduced by 1.
For example,
Base Boss Attack Power = 25
Tier1: 25k defence = -1 Attack power
Tier2: 50k defence = -2 Attack power
Tier3: 100k defence = -3 Attack power
Tier4: 150k defence = -4 Attack power
Tier5: 250k defence = -5 Attack power
Tier6: 400k defence = -6 attack power
Tier7: 650k defence = -7 attack power
Tier8: 1000k defence = -8 attack power
Tier9: 1500k defence = -9 attack power
Tier10: 2500k+ defence = -10 attack power
Max reduction is -10 Attack power meaning the boss will hit you for 15 instead of 25 at the highest possible tier.
Defence tiers will be locked after the first fight with a boss, so if youre 148k defence when you beat the first boss and get over 150k defence during the length of the event you wont upgrade from tier 3 to 4, similar to how the bosses hp tier works with player level.
This benefits both high level players since we all know that level 100+ boss is insanely tough to get far on and lower level campers with the stats to prove their worth.
