My question is what all effects match ups ? Is it only the ranking or also the attack strength from our faction ? Or is it a secreate from Gree ?
If this have beed already answered i'm sorry, mabye i'm to stupid to handel the search here in the forum but don't found something, even i think this would have been asked many times befor.

I think it's based on attack and defence stats in total
From what I have read on this forum, it is based on the total a/d score of your faction and what your w/d points are at that time. Does it always work? No. We are a top 150 faction and we have gone up against top 50 teams. It is just the way it is.
It cant be total a/d as we had constant wars with factions with more than half the faction we could not touch and dl's over 1mil stats.

I have sent a ticket to Gree, and their reply is -
first it will take your factions total strength and use a few minutes to find another faction (WHO HAS DECLARED war also) who is similar in strength. If there is no faction that has similar strength, the system will then loosen its standard and include WD ranking into the factor.
If it is taking a long time to match up, think of the possibility that another faction of equal strength to you has not declared war yet. ITS NOT NOT GREE'S FAULT. How ever, the longer it takes for some other faction to declare war, is the more likely chances you will have of getting a tougher or weaker faction to fight.

Well this explains alot!!! we got hammered with top 500 / 750 factions. we are only top 1000 you retardssss!

stats, faction boosts, and current WD points. past WD performance seems to come into play in the beginning of the event.
Those are of course "loosened" as you wait to pair. If your not paired in 5-10 minutes, prepare for either a crap faction, or someone that is going to smack you.

Exactly. The issue with the first fight of WD, is everyone is declaring at the same time. The longer you wait, and the system looks at your standings, which are obviosly at 0 points, who else is at 0 points? Ferr, SUP1, some faction who didnt even come in top 4000.

We went against a T25 faction to start the Campaign and our last war was a T750 if not higher.
We were a top 250 and ended up against top 50-100 teams most of the time. Stats didn't match up at all
Exact same story with us. We finished 222 and had probably 4 top 50/75 teams and 15 top 100 teams.
