It seems not.... Most people expect to get into FC with crappy stats. People need to be realistic but I guess there is more syndicates spots than active players so top 250 etc take average players.

yup, we have both been saying this for a while. I score 40k+ without gold and I'm in a top 500... We have a few of us who score similar and one even scores over 100k. We could go to top 150-250, but some of the free agents in here are living in a fantasy land. They may get a top 250 or whatever, but they will last 1 battle as a wall hitter before they are replaced by someone better. At least we're giving them a good base to build. We want all our players scoring like we do, which takes time and effort. Thankfully the core group we have are keen and getting better all the time.
