You know it's a hacker when....
1. All 3 knights are wearing cape spectaculars (who is going to pay $85 for a cape? nevermind 3 of them...)
2. They are level 40 and they have Black Kale and Aegis of the Dragon in final form.
3. ??
Any more? How do you spot the hackers?

I find your ignorance baffling. Or maybe just your lack of income. You obviously haven't even bought the non-gem cape.
Um, I could be level 1 w/ 10,000 gems & any # of DPC only armor at 70/70. At worst, that guys armors are only level 35.
Want to try again?? You're on the right track.

1. I am talking about the cape spectacular for 650 gems.
2. Of course it is POSSIBLE, but it is not probable. That is the whole point.
What are some ways that YOU can tell when someone is hacking?

I can tell someone is hacking when I'm sitting beside them and I look over their shoulder and watch them modify files on their phone which gives any unintended advantage
otherwise, never
only guess

Haha, as soon as I saw OPs post I figured you were the one to post a statement against it.
Though to be fair, I don't think there is anyone like you spending so much on this game at least that's only level 40. It however is possible to be 40 and have all that as mentioned.

It's not quite possible to hack an online game without making any noises. Gems/gold data are held on their server so not easy to hack.
And when you consider why GREE make about $1milloin weekly sales on this game it is not surprise to see players buying arena places and armors!
Only noticeable hacker feature is super arena armors and , probably suspecting, those wearing a basic fire but u know they got good armors. The theory would be like when you play in arena, you switch to good (hacked) armors and when you leave, switch basic fire for others to kill so to avoid detection by other players. This is may be supported by the fact that they rank so high, they are at least lv 70+ and such a move (put one knight with basic fire) lack any rationale unless they want to give easy arena points to others.Last edited by maple1736; 07-07-2013 at 03:06 PM.

Checking who the first one is in the arena , then checking his guild being level 41 with 40 guild bonuses !
Seems legit ..

well eunu basically got it right on the nose. you obviously don't know much about this game.
1. Lots of people buy the spectacular cape(with money or saved gems)
2. you buy it once and every single 6 knights can wear that same cape.
3. like eunu already said only lvl 35 needed. When i didn't know better on iOS and was around 40-50 i had i think 4 or 5 legendaries that were 35+. guess that makes me a hacker too?
here you can report me my code is. XBB-QND-FRB.

It's possible, but strange enough to raise some eyebrows. From playing other gree games, I know there are a handful of people willing to spend enormous sums of money on games like this, so it can be hard to rule anything out. There are however, several things that raise red flags. If I am spending $500-$1000 a month on this game, I am going to be blasting through levels pretty freaking fast, to get the most out of my shiny new toys.
I have been following eunuchorns posts since I started playing this game, and I am a little surprised by his response. He is correct that you can't automatically label someone a hacker just because they have top tier equipment at a low level, but to call someone bafflingly ignorant for doing so seems pretty odd. I appreciate his sense of caution, but to ignore red flags that defy logic and common sense seems naive at best.

Do you have proof of that #? Because I saw an interview w/ some of the high ups of Kandy Krush, & that game makes 2-3 mil PER DAY. I hope Gree is doing better than that. I know their other games must be based on war results.
@quantumace If you go read my 12 pages of posts since I joined forum you would see I'm quite condescending & blunt. What's worse is he took my answer, and such as is typical of any egoistic human (all of you), didn't even actually try to comprehend what he read or why I was being so antagonistic. He merely repeat himself. I hate this world.

to defend eunuchorn (who imo should be able to say what he wants on gree's forums - if he had bought shares rather than gems he could own them) he was mostly remarking at the necessity to buy the same cape more than once.
If you buy a cape you can equip it on as many knights as you fancy. If you do not even know that about the game, what gives you the authority to call some one else a hacker?
I was humbled when I called some one out, my argument was weak and if I had done some research I could have disproved it myself.
Be careful, starting witch hunts never end well. Gree does seem to be working behind the scenes to kick people who do not want to play by the rules, and they know those rules better than even us forum dwellers
