Italian Restaurant, Movie Theater, Loft are 3 main buildings everyone here will agree on. The other 2 are really more opinions based on personal experience. All buildings under level 5 and all mafia unlocks are type A buildings - they will help your economy grow the fastest.

I personally think that $1,032 every 5 minutes is a great thing to have at a low level - so I put in a vote for 2 x level 10 laundromats.
For my last best building, I'll throw in a house. Having a long payout building with upgrades that you will probably keep around for a long time is always a good thing to have around.
In summation - Italian Restaurant, Movie Theater, Loft, Laundromat, House.
