    Attack Points/Battle Points Explained

    Listen up Commanders!

There are now two kinds of points that War of Nations players can gain for participating in combat.

Attack Points are received when players attack and successfully destroy other players’ units. The amount of Attack Points gained is determined by the value of the unit(s) that were destroyed. Attack points will also count as Battle Points on the world leaderboard and the leaderboard for events. Missions that require Attack Points can only be progressed by gaining Attack Points.

Defenders will now gain Battle Points if the defender destroys more units than the attacker. The defender will receive the difference in Battle Points. Battle Points gained from defending will count on the world leader leader board and the leaderboard for events but missions that require Attack Points cannot be progressed by gaining Battle Points from defending.

How Battle Points are gained for defending is shown below:

Attacker Loses 500k worth of units
Defender Loses 300k worth of units
    Attacker gains 300k Battle Points
    Defender gains 200k Battle Points (500k - 300k)

Neither defeating NPC units in a Renegade Outpost nor defeating a Renegade Army when establishing an Outpost will result in any Attack Points for the player.

Players can find their current Battle Points, by selecting the Menu> Alliance. On the General Tab, players' Battle Points will be listed.

why are people 5 levels over getting nearly full BP for hitting lowers?
this feature is the worst part of the game, encourages griefing and makes people quit.

and also buildings are being destroyed when the defence is successful.
    fix this please.

This isn't an issue. If I decide to beat you up in the street and you successful defend it you may still end up with a broken arm.

I can steal your wallet and your broken arm won't do anything to help you.

This is a silly analogy. Lets use a different one.

The rogue former soviet republic of Greezbekistan flies a fleet of bombers helicopters and jeeps to washington DC for a preemptive strike. The formidable sensor grid gives the US 30 minutes warning and F85721s are scrambled.

The enemy forces are routed, 20% of each are destroyed and the rest flee.

However, the whitehouse, capitol building and edwards air force base are destroyed and the enemy has managed to steal 4 crates of silverware, three boxes of headed letter paper from congress and a collection of President Reagan commerative tea-towels.

No. Greezbekistan doesnt. Your thinking about goldspenderland, whose military power is equal or greater than the US and certainly wouldn't suffer such an abject loss.

Andrews AFB is the Airforce base that covers DC. Edwards AFB is in California and is where the Space Shuttles would land at times.
